RESA Digital Media Arts class is located at Ovid Elsie High School. Students from six school districts are able to attend the morning sessions. It is taught by Michael Puffpaff. Puffpaff said The Digital Media class is going very well so far and the kids are learning how to use the Adobe Premiere video editing program right now as they create public service announcements and commercials. What Puffpaff has planned for the class is to learn how to not only use software, but story writing, other video formats including a music video in the Spring, having their own podcast, hosting their own talk shows, and entering some contests. His goals for the class are for the students to learn how to use the video equipment and software so they can use this knowledge as a launching pad for future careers if they choose. There are currently 11 students in the class from four different school districts. Last year, the program won 27 different awards.
