EX New York Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs for a compensatory third-round pick and a sixth-round pick in the 2023 draft.  Toney did not want to be traded, the Giants coaching staff decided to trade Toney because they were concerned that when Toney came back from injury that he would start practice and get injured again, so they figured they would trade him and see what they could get. After the trade, running back Ronald Jones tweeted that he does not want to be a part of the Kansas City Chiefs, because they have a lot of talented wide receivers such as JuJu Smith-Schuster, Kadarius Toney and Skyy Moore.
