You, People, is a simple yet great movie. It’s just another rom-com but a good one in my opinion.  Its story can be trickled down to a boy and girl like each other, but there are differences, so comedy ensues. A man played by Jonah Hill falls for a woman of color played by Lauren London. The plot is simple yet it’s told in a very heartfelt way and is complimented with great comedy throughout. The comedy is nothing special but the delivery from the actors is what makes it hilarious. Jonah Hills and Lauren London’s chemistry is great and the interactions between the two families are fun to watch. Every character is played great by their actor. The film deals with some hard topics for being a goofy comedy. The movie also makes you care for its characters and its emotional moments hit hard. The film has a Rotten Tomatoes score of 41% and an audience score of 35%. Directed by Kenya Barris and recently released on Netflix, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a movie just to laugh and enjoy for an hour I rate this movie a 7/10.
