Songs and Instruments by Adrianne Lenker is an absolute masterpiece of an
album. Adrianne is an American musician. She is the lead vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter for
the band Big Thief. She is an indie/alternitive and folk artist.
Songs and Instruments is a gut wrenching album. Every song in this album is a lyrical
masterpiece. Specifically not a lot, just forever and anything. They are absolutely soul crushing.
The lyrics are genius, they flow so effortlessly. The actual instrumental part is very
beautiful and matches the lyrics perfectly.
Overall Songs and Instruments by Adrianne Lenker is one of the best things I have ever
heard in awhile. It is just very different from anything I’ve ever listened to. The beauty of it is
unmatched. I rate it a 10/10 even an 11 if I could. Anyone would like this album.
