The Advanced Writing class is working in conjunction with ISE to collect bottles and cans as a fundraiser. Funds will be used to sponsor needy families in the Ovid and Elsie areas. The drive will run until Monday, December 15th. Please help with this project. Please bring items to E-1 OR let me know and I will send an Advanced Writing student down to pick them up.
The OE Student Challenge will meet Thursday morning at 7:00 in room C-14 in the high school. A good free breakfast will be provided.
If any students are interested in starting up the Astronomy Club again this year, please see Mr. Martin before the end of this week. If there is enough interest a date will be set for the first meeting.
The Business Dept. students are holding their annual winter coat, hat, glove/mitten drive until Dec. 12. Clean, gently used items may be dropped off in S-18.
The varsity wrestling team is looking for 2 or more bodies to fill out the remainder of their line-up. Specifically, the team is in need of athletes that weigh around 110 pounds and 130 pounds. If you are interested in getting into the best shape of your life and being apart of a great family of student-athletes all the while possibly earning a varsity letter, please see Mr. Bowen for details. The deadline is this Thursday.
Any off-season athlete who is interested in developing strength, speed, and endurance, the high school weight room is open Monday thru Thursday from 3:15 to 4:30. Any questions see Coach Long.
Santa is coming. Ovid-Elsie Music Program invites you to a night of fun. Thursday, December 11 here in the High School. Pictures with Santa begin at 6:00 pm and will end at 8:00 pm. $5 donation to have picture emailed or mailed to you. Listen to the Jazz Band and enjoy cookies and a drink.
The 2013-2014 yearbooks are almost here! If you ordered a book, they will be available for pickup by Friday, December 12. More information on pickup times and locations will be available that week.
