ALL NHS invite packets are due tomorrow, September 15 to Mrs. Laurencelle no later than 7:45 A.M. Late submissions will NOT be considered.
There should not be any students in the central hallways during lunches. Make sure you plan accordingly.
Picture day is tomorrow. All students will be asked to take a photo, including seniors.
NHS will be selling Benny’s Donuts again this year as a fundraiser beginning this Friday, September 18 from 7:30-8 A.M. Get here early to get your first choice. Donuts will cost $1 and choices will include: apple fritters, chocolate frosted cinnamon rolls, long johns and twisted glaze donuts.
Class shirts are being ordered for homecoming. Forms and money are due September 18. Shirts should be in by September 29. Please see Mrs. McCormick, Mr. Topping or the table set up at lunch for forms.
The cafeteria now has a salad bar! It is located in the à la carte room. The price is the same as regular school lunches.
Students: there will be STAR math and reading testing on Wednesday, September 16 during 4th hour.
The first meeting of the OEHS National Art Honor Society will be Tuesday, September 15 at 7:30 A.M. in the art room S-10. Any student interested in learning more about this creative club is welcome to attend.

Join Clinton County RESA for “College Night” on Wednesday, September 23 from 6:30-8 P.M. at the Clinton County RESA building in St. Johns. Many college reps will be attending to talk with you. There will also be breakout sessions on financial aid and transitioning from high school to college. See the flier in the office for more information.
If there are any 10-12 grade students that are interested in agriculture conservation and touring the Baker College Ag Program, come see Ms. Hoffman. There is a field trip scheduled for Thursday, September 24.
Attention juniors and seniors: a college rep from Western Michigan University will be here Wednesday, September 16 during both lunches in the student lounge.

Seniors: please get your ideas for class motto, flower, song, and colors to either Ms. Blank or Mrs. Batora as soon as possible. Students will have a chance to vote on these items that will be permanently displayed in graduation announcements.
The powderpuff football game is Sunday, September 27 at 6 P.M. Any junior or senior girl who is interested in playing can stop by the office and pick up a parent consent form. You must have a current physical form on file to participate in the practice and the game. All forms must be turned in before students are allowed to practice.
Junior and senior boys: if you want to coach powderpuff football, please come to the office and see Mrs. Russell.
Burcham Enterprises will be offering a segment I driver’s education class beginning on September 22 from 3:05-5:05 P.M. The class will be held in Room S-14A. Registration packets are available in the office.
