The Sadie Hawkins Dance
February 24, 2017
The first Sadie Hawkins dance has passed by, generating various mixed reviews from students in its wake.
“It was pretty fun,” freshman Ashley Antes said.
Sadie Hawkins dances differ from traditional ones because the girls ask the guys to it instead of vice versa, bringing different people to the dance than who would normally go to a traditional one.
“I didn’t really enjoy all the music they played,” freshman Nadia Stenger said.
She did have a good time at the dance however.
“They played bad music,” freshman Noah Payne said. The dance took place mainly in the cafeteria.
“It was fun,” Stenger said. She liked dancing and hanging out with friends at the dance.
“It was nice to get out of the house for once,” Antes said.
