Junior varsity football has had an overall good season this year. They have won every game in their conference up to this point.

Many of the players have been playing football for quite a few years now. While some begin to lose interest after playing the same sport year after year, there are some who still love the sport.

“Even though my parents made me join the team, I still enjoy playing,” freshman Kameron Arnett said.

Although the team has a marvelous winning streak, some players believe that they could still improve.

”The season is going well, but it could be even better if all the team members worked as hard as they could everyday,” Arnett said.

The players enjoy their freshman year of football not only because they love the sport, but also because of their coaches.

“The coaches do a great job encouraging the players on and off the field,” freshman Justin Poli said.

The team seems to agree that their coaches have made their first year of high school football interesting and enjoyable.

“The coaches this year are my favorite out of the five years I have been playing,” freshman Carter Pattison said. ” They are strict when they need to be, but can also have fun while explaining what we need to work on.”
