Freshman volleyball had a challenging season on the court this year. However, many individuals improved in different ways off the court. Many girls have a changed perspective now after their losing season.

“Back in middle school playing a sport was so easy and there wasn’t much to gain from it. Now that we’re up in the high school, it’s gotten much harder,” said Maddy Larson, middle hitter, “After losing so many games, I know that we all need to work together and try our hardest to win.”

Other players have had similar thoughts about the losing season.

“Although I would prefer to win, of course, now I know my strengths and weaknesses so I can work on them.” said Alex Stump, back hitter.
