Ovid Elsie JV volleyball team competed in a match against Lakeville High school in Lakeville on Tuesday, Oct. 16th. The JV netters came up short in the end with a 2-1 score.
In the game, the first set was won by OE 25-19. Lakeville won set two with a score of 25-17. Lakeville finished off the game in the third set with a win of 15-10.
Coach Bethany Lawrence talked about how the first set was a point by point game and the girls pulled it off in the end taking the lead. Lawrence said the last two sets were lost by very little communication throughout the court.

Top players of the game were Emma Woodbury who scored serving 8 points during the first set. Kalista Bancroft was also a top player with 4 good tips that through Lakeville off.
