Country Kitchen has an old time cafe feel, building is ancient, love the old wood floors. Very homey, very casual. First time there, I did not expect much. The food was pretty good. I was not especially pleased with the service. I would still rate this restaurant a 7 out of 10 due to the amazing food, and the homey feel, but the service was not very good. The waitress was not personable at all, the prices are low for the portions you receive. The restaurant is located on M-21 just outside of Ovid. The address is 8875 M-21, Ovid, MI 48866. My favorite food to eat there is their breakfast food. I also like that prices are inexpensive. The prices range from $8 for sausage gravy and biscuits, to $14 for a burger. It is a local hangout for elderly people while they go there to drink coffee in the morning.
