Attack of the Clones A Three-Star Film

Attack of the Clones is the second of three prequels that expanded on the story George Lucas created for the Skywalker Saga. AOTC builds so much more into that and really hits home that this is the story of Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) good and bad. This is truly his turning point to being Darth Vader where he shows that he can’t control himself when his friends and family are in jeopardy.

Attack of the Clones in my opinion is one of the three worst movies in the Star Wars universe and really does not stand up as well as the rest. It built itself up well but had really bad writing and killed the mood entirely set up. I loved the hints that he would eventually turn, from how he acted and even from his shadow (yes his shadow).

I would love to give this movie a 5/10 like The Phantom Menace but it does not deserve a five it deserves a three or even a four if I’m being generous but that was if the movie was not so awkward. I’ll give it a 3.5 because it did have a great end fight with Yoda (Voiced By: Frank Oz) versus Count Dooku (Christopher Lee).
