Ovid-Elsie Varsity Softball is starting their winter workouts in the upcoming weeks. Due to school having Mid-Winter break, Coach Felicia Gingrich wants to have a hitting/conditioning/pitching and catching clinic at Hit and Pitch in Owosso. She plans to have the first workout Feb. 7th from 5-7 p.m. 

Some of the players who are returning this year are Junior Jolene Nash, Skylar Bowen, and many more players from varsity. After the 2020 season got cancelled due to Covid-19 everyone is hoping that this season we will be able to play. 

Tori Maynard, a returning varsity player says, “ I am excited to get back into playing, not being able to play last year was a bummer but I hope we will be able to play my Junior season.”
