OE JV Football team won the last game on Oct. 7th against Millington 20-6. I interviewed Sophomore Brayden Ormes this week. He said the team strived this week in their run game against the Cardinals unlike past weeks where the Marauders were led by Freshman Tyrce Tokar for passing touchdowns. This week the running game was led by Sophomore Cohen Brown and Tokar scoring touchdowns and carrying the team’s workload. The JV team when asked needs to improve upon their offensive line and they will become a great team. Brayden Ormes is the teams Tight End and Defensive End this being his second year playing JV football. Ormes plans to play basketball this winter and golf in the spring. Coming up the JV team will be facing Alma high school home on October 14th.
