V boys football team wrapped up its 2021 season this Thursday, Oct21 at home losing to Corunna Cavaliers 30-6. We interviewed sophomore Brayden Ormes after the loss. Brayden said that during the game teammates were playing the blame game and getting down on each other when things went wrong. The score at the half was 22-0 with the Marauders trailing. When asked what had gone wrong, Brayden had felt the team gave up on certain pass plays leading to scores from the Cavaliers. One solid about the Marauder defense was they started racking up sacks in the back field after the second half. Sophomore Cohen Tyler had the JVs only running touchdown. A fight broke out as well when the Marauders fumbled the ball and sophomore Isaac Orta came into the pile late and got pushed late after the play. Freshman Tryce Tokar stepped in and slammed a Cavalier to the ground followed by the teams stepping in.
