The OE Boys Varsity Basketball Team had a scrimmage on Wednesday Dec. 1st against Fowler. The game started off kind of bad, they had two or three baskets before OE´s first the game started off slow. Bad at rebounding, the Marauders were slow getting back on defense and seemed not able to run their plays at 100 percent. Freshman Axel Nexel had a few good baskets, senior Dylan Carman was a knock down shooter, juniors Clay Wittenberg had a few good jumpers and Logan Thompson had a great night driving and finishing along with knocking down all of his free throws off contact. Junior Beau Price and Senior Jacob Tomasek led the team with steals. In the end, the Marauders finished up on Fowler. Colin Fluharty thinks that when the team gets comfortable they might lose a game out of conference, but is confident the season will be undefeated and win the conference championship this year. They are most worried about Chesaning and their 1-3-1 as the biggest competition this year.
