Boys Varsity Marauders started off 1-0 for the basketball season with a good but hard win over Bath on Dec. 7th with the final score at 56-52 OE. We got a chance to speak with senior guard Jacob Tomasek about the game. He stated that OE definitely played rough but it being the start of the season and Bath being one of the best competition OE will face this wasn’t a bad game at all. The Marauders fault all night going back and forth staying mainly tied the entire game. Freshman Axel Newel led the team with 12 points followed by senior Adam Barton with 10 and senior Dylan Carman with 8 points. The team said again that they need to improve their defense and rebounding to be at the top of the conference this year. The varsity Marauders will be playing again on Dec. 10th against Durand.
