The Ovid-Elsie Girls Varsity Basketball team beat New Lothrop 38-26 last Friday to complete a perfect 14-0 in the MMAC. Sophomore Ava Bates led OE with 10 points and 3 steals, following was Evalyn Cole with 9 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 steals. The Marauders had 12 assists on 14 baskets made and collected 22 steals over 30 turnovers. Ovid-Elsie will enter district play on Wednesday after they await the winner of the game on Monday Corunna – Flint Hamady.
