This past Saturday the Cowboys were on the road against the Raiders for their second preseason game this year. There was a lot to see during this game from both team’s offenses and defenses but ultimately the Cowboys won 27-12. Some of the stats from the Cowboys quarterbacks were Trey Lance played 3 of the 4 quarters he went 15 for 23 for 151 yards, threw a touchdown pass and rushed for a touchdown, the other quarterback that played for the Cowboys was Cooper Rush who went 1 for 3 for 6 yards. The stats from the Raiders quarterbacks were Aidan O’Connell who went 14 for 20 with a touchdown pass and an interception. On the defensive side there were no sacks but linebacker Damone Clark from the Cowboys did record a TFL and Kemon Hall on the Cowboys had a pick 6. The highlight of this game was a field goal that happened right before halftime when Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey drilled a 66-yarder tying the NFL record. Even though the Cowboys won and had that impressive field goal they have a decent amount to clean up before their season starts. The same can also be said about the Raiders who are still struggling to find who is best fit at quarterback for their team.
