The Lions were on the road in Arizona this Sunday, Sept.22nd, to play the Cardinals. With the Lions having a loss in their rearview mirror they were ready for this week and it showed. Both teams played a good game but the Lions won 20-13. Some of the statistics that helped the Lions win were Jared Goff passing for 199 yards, 2 touchdowns and only 1 interception. David Montgomery rushing for 105 yards on 23 attempts and a touchdown. Then Jahmyr Gibbs rushing for 83 yards on 16 attempts. The Cardinals stats were Kyler Murray going 21/34, 207 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 interception. James Conner rushing for 17 yards on 9 attempts. Ultimately I think it was the Cardinals week run scheme that cost them the game.
