Oct. 22nd, the Spartans faced off against the Wolverines at Demartin Soccer complex. The game was a battle that boiled down to a draw. MSU was slated to win, but U-M stayed strong throughout the whole Match. MSU had 4 shots total and U-M had 6 shots. MSU goalie Michael Sly and UM goalie Isiaha Goldson both had 4 saves. MSU forward #22 Jake Spadafora had 2 shots that were saved by Michigan’s keeper. U-M forward #7 Jason Bucknor, also had 2 shots that were saved by the goal keeper. This was an amazing game to watch, especially after these teams tied last year with the same score. MSU’s season record is 5-6-3. U-M has a record of 6-3-5.
