Ultraviolence by Lana Del Rey is a poetically beautiful album. It was released on June
13th of 2014. It is 51 minutes and 54 seconds long. The genres are Rock, Dream rock,
Psychedelic rock, Jazz fusion, Soft rock, and Desert rock. This album is a little different from
Lana’s usual style of music but it is still good and the uniqueness makes it stand out from her
other albums.
There are 14 songs in total in this album, and all of them are phenomenal. The beat and
the instruments go perfectly with Lana’s ethereal voice which really makes this album this good.
The lyrics are like no other, they flow wonderfully and tie in with everything else.
Lana has written better songs and albums but this is still incredible, this album is
probably my 4th favorite of hers its a classic favorite but it deserves all of the attention and
recognition. Lana did a great job with this album and I hope to see more of this different style of
hers in her future albums.
In conclusion, I would recommend this album to anyone because it really is worth the
listen. Lana put a lot of dedication into this album and it shows. I rate it an 8.5/10, it isn’t my
favorite, It’s still a beautiful album.
