Sabrina Carpenter’s Fifth Release Very Sophisticated

Sabrina Carpenter released her fifth album titled Emails I can’t Send  on July 15,
2022. This album features 13 songs with a common theme: the desire to reach out to an ex
while resisting the urge to maintain one’s dignity. This is considered a pop/pop-folk album. A
popular song of Sabrina’s is “Feather” this song is currently trending on TikTok, and is played on
many different radio stations.
This album begins with the song Emails I can’t Send, in which the artist expresses her
disgust toward someone due to their actions. The song conveys feelings of hurt and highlights
how easily this person seems to move on from what they did. Another track on the album is
titled Nonsense, which focuses on moving on and learning to forget how people have treated
you in the past.
My personal favorite track on this album is titled Because I liked a boy.” This song
captures the genuine emotions of being ridiculed for associating with the wrong people. It
gained popularity on TikTok for a while because many listeners found it relatable.
Overall this is a very good album with sophisticated lyrics, topics, and feelings. Highlights
of this album include Feather and Tornado Warnings. This is album is definitely worth listening to.
