Grammy’s Touch on Wildfire Relief

The Grammy Awards were held at the crypto.com arena in Los Angeles, and was live on the CBS network.Beyonce entered the night with 11 nominations, for her album “Cowboy Carter”. She’s the most nominated artist in Grammy history with 99 nominations throughout her entire career. Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar,Post Molone, and Charli XCX received 7 nominations. Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, and Chappell Roan earned 6 nods. Lamar won all five categories he was nominated for, and Chappell Roan was also pretty successful, taking home the Best New Artist award. Former host of “The Daily Show”. Trevor Noah returned to host for a 5th straight year. Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Charli XCX, and Sabrina Carpenter all performed. Not only celebrating music this year, the Grammys also focused on the devastating wildfires that destroyed many homes and killed 29 people in Los Angeles in the past month. Noah reminded viewers to donate relief efforts. A group of firefighters from Los Angeles was invited on stage to present the final award and got a standing ovation from the crowd.
