Wistoria: Wand and Sword is a Japanese anime based on the manga(Wistoria: Wand and
Sword) and is currently One season long with twelve episodes and each episode around 23
minutes long. Wistoria is about a world where magic reigns, but the main character Will
Serfort(Kohei Amasaki who you might have heard as Otto Suwen from Re:ZERO -Starting Life
in Another World) can’t cast a spell. Though hardworking, Will’s classmates think less of him
because he can’t use any magic at all. However, he still goes into the dungeons filled with
monsters only with a sword of which he is the only swordsman to use an actual physical sword.
Can Will defy expectations with muscle over magic and blade over wand? Find out by watching
Wistoria: Wand and Sword. It has been rated a 4.8 on average on Crunchyroll and was released
on July 7th, 2024. The screenwriter is Tatsuya Yoshihara who also directed it. If you want to
watch this you can find it on Fandango, Crunchyroll, Funimation, etc. all in all I would give this
anime a 7/10 because it was interesting enough to keep me watching it but it wasn’t that unique.
