On Thursday, August 21st, the Houston Astros played the Baltimore Orioles at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. This was an excellent game for the Astros, and they were able to break a 4 game losing streak with a final score of this game being 7-2. The Astros were able to build an early lead and build an offense we haven’t seen from them in the past couple of games. The last time the offense scored this many runs was 10 days ago against the Red Sox, in which the Astros won 7-6. The main player for the Astros was Jesus Sanchez, who went 5 for 5 in this game and had 1 RBI. Their starting pitcher was Jason Alexander, who went 5 and ? innings, and he gave up 8 hits, 2 earned runs, and had 3 strikeouts. The main player for the Orioles was Dylan Beavers, who went 1 for 3 and had 1 home run and 2 RBI. Their starting pitcher was Brandon Young, who went 5 and ? innings, and he gave up 9 hits, 7 earned runs, and had 1 strikeout. All in all, this was a great bounce-back game for the Astros and will hopefully help them get going again.
