What Could Be Better by The Happy Fits is an album I’ve known about but haven’t listened to it until now. It was released on August 28th, 2020 and the band consists of Calvin Langman, Raina Mullen, Nico Rose, and Luke Davis. Founded by langman and a former member Ross Monteith in 2016.
They are all still together as a band and making music together they released an album earlier this year and have a tour in november of 2025
I like this album I rated it a little low at a 3.73 out of 5 but i do like the songs I think my biggest critics are the beats and the jumpiness of the songs they seem to move up and down and change so much I just like smother songs and the same throughout but i do overall like them.
This album to me is pretty vanilla, not in a bad way as vanilla is my favorite flavor but in the way that it’s safe and doesn’t get dark; at least in a very obvious way. I’d give Thunderhorse by the clouds a big 3.8/5. None of the album is bad, I just think it has room to be better.
This album is one I’d suggest definitely, but its not really for me I think another critique is how many songs there are because they don’t really relate to much either they’re very different throughout.
