
On Sept. 20th, 2025, the 21st-ranked Michigan Wolverines played the unranked Nebraska Cornhuskers at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska. This was a pretty close game the whole way, but Michigan was able to pull out a close win with a final score of 30-27. Michigan played a pretty sloppy game and it’s surprising that they were able to get the win but they did. Michigan looked alright on offense; they had 395 total yards of offense with most of it being rushing yards. Michigan’s star player in the game was Justice Haines who had 17 carries for 149 yards and 1 touchdown. They also had Jordan Marshall who had 6 carries for 80 yards and 1 touchdown. Michigan’s run game has looked really good this year with them only having 1 game so far where they haven’t had 200-plus rushing yards. Nebraska was pretty solid on offense, having 351 total yards. Nebraska’s star player was Dylan Raiola, who went 30/41 for 3 touchdowns and 1 interception. They also had Jacory Barney Jr., who had 6 catches for 120 yards and 2 touchdowns. Michigan will look to continue this win streak against Wisconsin on October 4th with the time to be determined.
