On October 4th, 2025, the 20th-ranked Michigan Wolverines played the unranked Wisconsin Badgers in Ann Arbor at Michigan Stadium. This was a very close game the whole time, with Michigan making costly mistakes that significantly helped Wisconsin. This game was way closer than it needed to be, but Michigan was able to pull out the win with a final score of 24-10. Michigan’s offense made lots of mistakes, especially the Wide receivers, as there were many drops throughout the game from them, and they could’ve been very big plays. Even with the problems they had, they still managed to have 445 total yards. Michigan’s star player was Bryce Underwood, who went 19/28 for 270 yards and 1 touchdown. They also had Donaven McCulley, who had 6 catches for 112 yards and 1 touchdown. Wisconsin had a very strong first drive; however, they were unable to keep that momentum going for the rest of the game. Wisconsin’s star player was Hunter Simmons, who went 18/29 for 177 yards and 1 interception. They also had Vinny Anthony II, who had 9 catches for 97 yards. All in all, this was an up and down game but Michigan will look to keep it going against USC on Saturday, October 11th at 7:30 on NBC.
