Bloons TD 6 is one of those games that looks simple at first but ends up being super addictive. It’s a tower defense game where you use monkeys to pop waves of balloons before they reach the end of the path. It might sound kind of childish, but it’s actually really fun and can get pretty intense. The tech that can be used to make more money, or unlocking the expensive and secretive paragons, makes the game feel harder than it is.
What I like most about Bloons TD 6 is how many towers and upgrades there are. Each monkey has different upgrade paths, and you can combine them to make strong setups. For example, you can make a wizard monkey that shoots fire or you can make it the literal prince of darkness who can summon undead balloons. The game also gets updates with new maps, towers, and heroes, which keep it feeling fresh.
The progression system is also really satisfying. You earn monkey money and XP while playing, which helps you unlock better upgrades called monkey knowledge and heroes. Heroes are special monkeys with unique powers that level up as you play, making them super useful in tougher rounds. It takes some time to unlock everything, but it makes beating hard levels feel rewarding.
Still, the game isn’t perfect. Some of the later rounds get really stressful because of how many freaking fortified ceramics. After a while, the gameplay can start to feel repetitive since you’re mostly doing the same thing every round. Also, even though it’s a paid game, there are still microtransactions for skins, and if you put even more money into it you can get double money, and you can skip some rounds, which feels kind of unnecessary.
Overall, I think Bloons TD 6 is a really fun and addictive tower defense game. It’s simple to learn but hard to master, and that’s what makes it great. Even though it can feel paid to win, there’s enough strategy and variety to keep it interesting. If you like games that challenge you but are still fun to play, this one’s definitely worth trying.
