Dawson Coats is currently a junior at Ovid-Elsie High School. Dawsons favorite color is blue, and his favorite food is Spaghetti. He is a member of the Track and Field team, and of the band. He is also part of the indoor drumline with Ferndale, and is an active member in both Robotics and Student Council. Dawson was selected as Junior Representative and said that it was a cool experience and that it’s nice to know that people look up to him. He wants to get his major at Western Michigan for AeroSpace Engineering and his masters at Michigan. After college he plans to work for NASA or a smaller place like Michigan Aerospace.
