The new action packed movie “Captain Marvel” is about the universe’s most powerful hero; Carol Danvers also known as Captain Marvel. The movie is set in the 90’s, the conflict is Earth caught in the middle of an galactic war. Captain Marvel according to Rotten Tomatoes, “Packed with action, humor, and visual thrills, Captain Marvel introduces the MCU’s latest hero with an origin story that makes effective use of the franchise’s signature formula.” The movie is Pg-13 for sequences of sci-fi violence and action, and brief suggestive language.

The cast for Captain Marvel is;  Brie Larson from Room as Ma, but in Captain Marvel, Larson is Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel. Samuel Jackson as Nick Fury but you may have seen Jackson in Glass that also came out in 2019. The directors of Captain Marvel were Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck; on Rotten Tomatoes the movie has gotten a 87 percent, but the movie comes out March 8th. On Rotten Tomatoes Mick LaSella gave the review, “Good thing it’s still March. “Captain Marvel” would have made a weak start to the summer blockbuster season.” And, giving the movie a 2/4 while Larushka Ivan-Zadeh gave the movie a 4/5 saying this for the review, “Marvel takes a feminist leap forward with this superhero movie to change superhero movies forever.” There are two sides to this movie, good reviews and some bad reviews, but the only way to really find out is to go watch the new Captain Marvel movie now in theaters.
