Student Challenge Talks Giving Back

Student+Challenge+Talks+Giving+Back

For Student Challenge, April 18, instructor John Hazle was teaching a lesson about being someone that gives back or looks to get a quick dollar in the process.

Student Challenge takes place in the woodshop room, also known as C-14. It is weekly on Thursdays, starting at 7:15 a.m. and lasting until 7:50 a.m.

This lesson is being taught using the examples of Mary, Judas and the Bible to help the students understand that you need to chose to be a Mary and not a Judas.

This lesson is being taught to impact every student and teacher, and is being taught because you should not be greedy and instead should be generous.

When asked What will this teach the students, Samantha Grubaugh said, “To be humble and honest like Mary was when she poured the perfume of Jesus’s feet.”

This means that when you get something don’t pretend to help just to make money, give it all to help them.
