Ovid-Elsie Varsity Boy baseball team is 6-4 overall record with a 2-2 in the conference. Their latest games were against Everett April 18 and New Lothrop April 25. The boys ran away with the game against Everett winning 11-6, taking the game in the third inning with four runs to put the boys up big. The New Lothrop game did not go the way the team was expecting it to go. New Lothrop led the game with four runs in the first inning and five runs in the fifth inning with Ovid Elsie only having three runs in just five innings. New Lothrop ended up stealing the game away from the Marauders with a big win 13-3 final score. Team captain Jacob Loyans said, “The team is working hard but we have a few small things that we need to work on.”
