Selden Standard restaurant is number one on both TripAdvisor and Yelp in Detroit. It’s known for its fresh food from locally grown sources. One reviewer said, “the veg carpaccio, the grilled scallions, charred octopus and whole fruit were yum.” Another reviewer enjoyed the rabbit ragu and lamb ragu paired with a crisp albarino. Selden Standard is at 3921 2nd Ave. in Detroit. I would rate the Selden Standard a 9 out of 10 because the food is really good but the prices range anywhere from from $15 to $20 a plate. Service is good, but the atmosphere is a little gloomy.
