Netflix has announced that they are taking the ‘90s NBC sitcom, Friends off of its lineup in 2020. Netflix lost friends in a bidding war. Netflix agreed to play $85 million dollars to renew the series for another year but that was just too much money to keep the series going. It is sad to watch one of Netflix’s most beloved shows go away. Netflix stated, “We’re sorry to see friends go to Warner’s streaming service at the beginning of 2020. Thanks for the memories, gang.”
Friends has been on Netflix for about five years and it is finally coming to an end. People are not very happy about this news. Most people say they are going to binge watch all 10 seasons before the new year comes and Netflix cancels it for good.
