Starting the weekend before Thanksgiving, the village of Ashley will be transformed into an old-fashioned Country Christmas. Stroll the streets and enjoy the beautiful 1940’s inspired decorations. See the big Christmas tree, take a horse drawn wagon ride, watch a juggler or visit the hobo camp. The Hobo Kitchen has soup and bread meals, and you’ll meet all the hobo characters. Also for a sweet treat visit the Czech Bakery, the Sweet Shop, or grab an elephant ear.
To make a wonderful Christmas memory bring your own bell to add to the believe tree. When you’re hungry stop into the North Pole Express Cafe for a light meal. Ride the North Pole Express into town or go and watch the big train arrive. You can visit Santa, see his reindeer and make a toy at Santa’s workshop. You can also enjoy the sights and sounds of an old fashioned Christmas in the Village of Ashley.
