I recently went to the restaurant Champs Bar and Grill at 2800 Preyde Blvd, Lansing, MI 48912. And upon entry I was impressed with the atmosphere and the friendly staff, but that feeling did not last long. We waited about 20 minutes for our waiter to even greet us, when he did serve us he was uncomfortably close to us the whole time. After waiting for 35 minutes, the appetizer that we ordered, pickle fries, came to us ice cold and horribly seasoned. We paid about $7 for cold pickle fries. We proceeded to wait another hour and a half for the entrees, when it finally came my Champs burger came cold and with a raw egg in the middle of it. I paid $12.99 for a cold burger. When the other entree came it was ice cold as well, the “boneless chicken wings” we ordered were purely burnt balls for batter, another $9.99 thrown away. When we were finished with our food we were given a measly “free dessert” coupon that was not redeemable until the next week. After my first experience at Champs Bar and Grill I can say it will definitely be my last, from lousy waiters to awful food, it was overall an unforgettable visit for all of the wrong reasons.
