On Sept. 22nd, the Junior Varsity volleyball team beat Byron at home. The girls went into the game with a positive attitude and were ready to beat their coach’s hometown team.
The first set was close in the end but Ovid Elsie pulled through and won the set 25-23. They also won the second set 25-14.
The third set however was going to be only played until 15 so the Ovid Elsie Lady Marauders also won that with a score of 15-9.
This then brought their winning streak to 3-0 and being 1-0 for the conference.
