The movie Mulan is one of many Disney remakes. This movie is similar to the animated one but there are still many differences to it too. In the remake Hua (hoo-wa) Mulan has a sister Hua Xia. Instead of having the little dragon Mushu there is a Phoenix. But the concept of the movie is the same, she steals her fathers armor, sneaks out to the camp with the soldiers, fights in the war and saves the emperor. Her family consists of a Father Hua Zhou (Tzi Ma), Mother Hua Li (Rosalind Chao), Sister Hua Xia (Xana Tang), and herself Hua Mulan (Liu Yifei). The director of the movie is NIki Caro. The movie came out last year in 2020 on Sept 4th. On the website Rotten Tomatoes on the Tomatoemeter it has been voted to be 73% fresh which means that it is a pretty good movie.
