Tuesday, March 9th, the Ovid-Elsie Marauders Girls Varsity Basketball Team beat Durand High School at home. The top scorers of the game were junior, Caitlyn Walter with 17 points, freshman Evalyn Cole with 10 points, and senior Tristin Ziola with 11 points. The Marauders record so far is 9-3 with districts coming up soon. The Ovid-Elsie Marauders will be playing away at Bullock Creek Monday, March 15th, at 7:30pm. The Marauder girls will have two more games until districts start. Districts start March 22nd. Owosso will be hosting this year’s district basketball games and the Marauder girls will be playing Durand in the first round of districts.
