On Monday Apr. 12th, the Boys Varsity Baseball Team played their first conference game at home against Lakeville. The game was a double header and they won both with the scores of 11-1 and 12-6. In the first game, the Marauders held Lakeville to 0 until the final inning. The second didn’t start off well for the Marauders, but they came back with a 7 RBI streak in the 3rd inning.
Luke Marten is the head coach for the varsity team along with assistant coaches Micheal Loynes and Zac Steele. With four players quarantined this week it created a challenge and the team had to bring up four JV players, but they still played well.
Returning Senior, Carson Gregory, started at the mound and had the highest strikeouts with 4. Jacob Tomasek had the most hits with 5.
