Monday, April 19th, O-E Varsity Softball played their first conference game against Chesaning. The Lady Marauders split the double header. So their record so far in this season is 6-5.
The first game of the double header the score of the game was 15-6 with the Marauders setting the stage with an early lead in the 4th. Maddisyn Miller led the team in hits with three hits at the game. Gracie Schultz led the team in RBI’s with two after hitting a double! Olivia Burt was in the circle for the Marauders and pitched all six innings of the game; she had three strikeouts the whole game. The second game the Lady Marauders were at bat first and lost the 10-8 after the coaches and the officials agreed that it was getting too dark to play after the 6th inning. Miller again led the team in hits. Burt led the team in RBI’s after hitting a HomeRun in the 3rd inning. Schultz started the game in the circle but was not having her best game so Katilyn Fry came in
