Drama is officially moving their production of Annie Jr. to January 14th and 15th, 2022. The decision was made last week by the members of drama to move it back due to the recent Covid outbreak at the school.
With the outbreak forcing Ovid-Elsie High School to go virtual for two weeks, the classes of Choir and Drama found it best to move the play back to January.
This is the second year running where drama has moved back their play due to Covid. As last year the drama had a production that was fully virtual and aired in January. Additionally, the school’s production of Shrek Jr. was moved back a few weeks when the school faced a covid outbreak in mid-April.
Drama also cancelled their Marauder Monstrosity Night due to the Covid outbreak with plans to do an event potentially in March. Drama still has a GoFundMe page right now as well that you can donate money to help drama.
