Wednesday, Feb. 23rd, 17 Ovid-Elsie FFA members competed in the region 4 leadership contest at Corunna High School at 4 p.m., they all received a gold or silver award at the competition. Only three regional winners are going to the state competition. Meadow Evans, Danica Bancroft, Clarissa Baese, Abigal Lehan, Jeremiah Stewart, Josh Miller Jr, Jacob Miller, Robert Kebler, and Nathan Brown received gold for JR High Conduct Of Meeting and are advancing to state competition. Willow Evans, Cassidy Harris, and Harris Evans received gold in their Fine Swine Demonstration and will be advancing to state competition and finally, Matthew Witaker received gold in public speaking and will be advancing to state competition.
