The movie overall is a great movie to watch. I would recommend watching this movie. It is something that is made for all ages and even younger kids will love it. I had started to watch it and didn’t think I was going to like it but ended up liking the movie. I mean it’s a good movie but I probably would not watch it again over a different movie.

Rotten Tomatoes stated the critics’ consensus about the movie. “Lightyear settles for being a rather conventional original story instead of reaching for the stars, but this gorgeously animated adventure ably accomplishes it’s mission of straightforward fun.” Also, according to Rotten Tomato, the audience said that even if it doesn’t quite measure up to toy story, LightYear offers an entertaining- although somewhat complicated- original story for the beloved title character. Most people on Rotten Tomatoes gave the movie a 3.5/5 and there where a few that was higher than that, but not very mean.
