One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, A Must-See Classic

A sane man who assumes he will be in a less restrictive environment when he gets transferred for evaluation from a prison farm to a mental institution, where he rallies up the scared patients against the tyrannical nurse. One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest is a heartfelt film that beautifully tells its story. The film is a psychological drama with subtle comedy and is perfectly paced with some great humorous detours. The Script is fantastic and explores the themes perfectly. And the ending is tragic and yet so powerful. The film is entertaining all throughout and you can never quite predict what happens next. The most you will notice in this film is the quality of acting. The way the actors like Danny DeVito, Will Sampson, and Christopher Lloyd portray the intensity of mental illness makes this a performance to remember. Jack Nicholson brings alive the entire movie with one of his best roles. His character is perfectly written and flawlessly executed with Nicholson’s acting. You can look at Jack Nicholson’s face and know exactly what he’s thinking. The movie has a 93% on Rotten Tomatoes with an audience score 0f 96%. And was recently added to YouTubes free movies section. Despite the film being almost 50 years old it still remains relevant today and can still be enjoyed by anyone. The movie at points made me happy, sad, and disturbed. One of the most beautiful movies I have viewed and is in my opinion a must see film. 10/10.
