It is 12 straight wins for the Lady Marauders with a 53-31 victory over the Laingsburg Wolfpack Jan. 31st. While
this win may not matter for conference purposes, it proved a lot about OE. The team has faced
criticism for not playing many competitive opponents, but all doubters were silenced here.
Evalyn Cole would have a fantastic night, dropping 17 points. This would be a quieter game for
Ava Bates, who only dropped 8. Braeden Tokar would score 7 points and Izzy Loynes would
score 6. Sophomore Tava Kvalevog and Senior Rylee Lewis would make a three-pointer each.
Ovid-Elsie will have their next matchup away at Alma College, on February 4th, at 1:00 pm.
This matchup will be against the Mackinac Comets, who will cross the bridge for this game.
