War Horse: WWI Movie With Twist

Kevin Ley, Staff writer

War Horse is about a horse named Joey who was bought by an old man at an auction and was turned into a plow horse. Then when WWI broke out he was sold into the army. We see Joey get passed around from British, to German, to French and back to his original owner Albert.

Joey battled through barbed wire, gun fire, artillery fire, and being worked almost to death. However, he made his way back to Albert with some minor cuts but completely fine for the most part. However since Albert did not find him, Joey belonged to the army and they were going to auction him off.

All the soldiers came together to give Albert enough money to purchase Joey. Even with everyone helping Albert he lost the auction and someone else bought Joey, however after seeing they connection Albert and Joey had he returned Joey to Albert where they went back to their farm, finally together again.

My Rating: I give this movie a 6/10. I gave it a 6/10 because it is a relativity slow movie, however, it has a great twist at the end.
