The Ovid-Elsie Varsity Track team competed at the Saginaw Valley State University Indoor
Invitational on Friday, March 23rd.
At this meet, there were several impressive performances. Senior Alexis Spitzley would take
second place in the Girls’ 800-Meter Run. The qualifying time was an impressive 2.27.59. Junior
Audrey Johns would also place second in the Girls’’ High Jump, with a qualifying height of 4-8.
Additionally, sophomore Tryce Tokar would take first in the Boys’ Pole Vault with a height of
14-1.
Both teams look towards their next competition, Wednesday, April 5th. This will be a home
scrimmage against Morrice, at 4:00 pm.
